RIDING LESSON

1:1 ratio for beginner riders

At Kellenbrook farms our main goal is to develop confident skilled riders.  This is why our Kamp lesson format does not stray from our core values.  When your child is at camp we will teach them to ride a horse we start all new lesson on a lunge line, once the child is comfortable then we allow them to ride independently.  What this does for the rider is it gives the balance and awareness of their body while on top of the horse.
Every rider will progress at different rates, and that is ok! At Kamp Kellenbrook we are striving to give kids a positive experience, we will never force children to do something that they are not comfortable with.

HORSEMANSHIP

Learning to love these magnificent creatures!

At Kamp Kellebrook safety, awareness and respect for these animals is at the forefront of our curriculum.  Horse are amazing and majestic creatures and we will teach your child how to lead, brush, feed and care for them.  Your child will have hours of hands on horse time!

FUN AND GAMES

At Kamp Kellebrook fun and games are the best part!

In the afternoons, we take a short break for lunch, crafts, and play. Each camp week will feature a unique theme that guides our post-lunch activities. From supervised bareback rides and engaging barn games to guided, horse-themed arts and crafts, campers will enjoy a creative and fun-filled extension of their riding experience.
